At the heart of the NEPA Invitational is our commitment to strengthening the communities of Northeastern Pennsylvania through the Scranton Area Community Foundation and our 2025 beneficiaries: Janet Weis Children’s Hospital, Children’s Advocacy Center, Boys & Girls Club of NEPA, Ronald McDonald House of Scranton, and MyCIL. This collective mission reflects our dedication to improving children’s health, supporting families, and creating opportunities across the region.

Our Harmony for Hope Gala plays an essential role in driving the success of our mission. This annual event brings together the community for an unforgettable evening of music, philanthropy, and celebration. Through ticket sales, donations, and silent auctions, the gala raises critical funds for:

In recognition of the support the NEPA Invitational and Brandon and Danielle Matthews provided to the Geisinger Health Foundation from 2022–2024 in support of pediatrics, a space within the Pediatric Therapy & Rehab Services has been dedicated in their honor to celebrate this meaningful contribution.
OUR HOST COURSE
We’re proud to host the NEPA Invitational at the Country Club of Scranton’s renowned Old Course. Designed by legendary architect Walter Travis in 1927, the course is known for its dramatic elevation changes, fast, undulating greens, and a timeless layout that rewards creativity and precision. A frequent host of premier championships—including the Pennsylvania State Open and Amateur—it’s the perfect backdrop for a weekend of great golf and even greater impact.
